Project IS-MIGaIN - Workshop - International Academic Mobility from the Student’s Perspective: Potentials and Challenges (How to make policy makers to better understand the challenges and potentials of studying abroad)

The aim of the workshop was to explore the possibilities for the development of policies that encourage the building of cross-cultural communication and identity of students during their international academic mobility.

Three aspects of international academic mobility were discussed at the workshop: professional, spatial and cultural. The work was led by members of the IS-MIGaIN project team. Students - participants of the workshop were divided into three discussion groups: Serbian students who had experience in international academic mobility, foreign students who study in Serbia, Serbian students who study in Serbia with foreign students.

Through discussion with selected groups of students, inputs were obtained, which will be the basis for discussion on formulating possible systems of cooperation at different levels of management and effective interaction between policy makers, academia and civil society organizations.

The IS-MIGaIN project is implemented within the framework of the Identity project call of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
