А workshop for policymakers and decision-makers "International academic migration - towards a positive experience for students" was held on September 18, 2024, at the Institute of Social Sciences.

On behalf of the Ministry of Education, the assistant to the Minister of Education for International Cooperation Dr. Aleksandar Jović welcomed the participants of the workshop, emphasizing the importance of the topics of the workshop for the Ministry of Education.

From August 27 to 30, Dr. Vladan Vidicki and Dr. Snežana Stojšin, members of the IS-MIGaIN research project, attended the 16th European Sociological Association Conference in Porto, Portugal. The conference gathered over four thousand participants from universities and research institutions across Europe and beyond. On August 30, they presented their paper titled The Effects of International Work Experience on Labor Market (Re)Integration: The Case of International Migrant Students, which was developed through the IS-MIGaIN project.

Our collaborator on the IS-MIGaIN project, Jelena Predojević Despić, participated in the International scientific conference 21st IMISCOE annual scientific conference entitled - Migration as a Social Construction: A Reflexive Turn, within the section #274 panel Transnational Family Dynamics, with the paper "Identity, positionality and reflexivity in researching transnational family relations: experiences from three case studies". The conference was held at the State University of Lisbon, ISCTE UNIVERSITY, in the period 2-5 July 2024.

The member of the IS-MIGaIN research team, Dr. Vesna Lukić, participated in the International scientific conference EUROGEO 2024 Conference: “Compromised Geography: Spreading a New World” organised on 30^th and 31^th of May 2024 in Porto, Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, Portugal. The 2024 EUROGEO Annual Meeting and Conference is organized to present outcomes of geographical or interdisciplinary research related to the theme: “Compromised geography: spreading a new world”. This Conference comprised 110 participants.
